Rapper Big Sean has encouraged people who have experienced miscarriage to stay strong since it is not the end of the world.
He was on the January 17 edition of the On Purpose with Jay Shetty show, where he shared his experience of dealing with miscarriage with his partner, Jhené Aiko.

Apart from his personal stories, Big Sean, born Sean Michael Leonard Anderson, spoke about his book titled: Go Higher: Five Practices for Purpose, Success, and Inner Peace.
Asked how he dealt with the situation, he said, “Every situation is different, before adding that people who faced such a challenge should not be too hard on themselves.
“…I can only speak from a man’s perspective, I can’t speak for a woman, their perspective is the most traumatic, but I can say that, first of all, you’re worthy. I don’t want you to think you’re not worthy.”

“I don’t want people to think that because they have a miscarriage that they’re inadequate or that they’re broken. I think that this life is complex, and there are things we do and don’t understand, and I think there’s beauty in everything that’s meant for you,” he said.
Sean noted that people may have the opportunity to have another child and should not let the bad experience take the better part of their lives.

“…to anyone who does experience such an insufferable loss: Go through it, express yourself, deal with that grief, but don’t let it consume you,” he noted.
Big Sean is said to have shared news of their miscarriage in 2020 with the release of the song Big Reverence,” which had the lyric, “We lost the baby.”
The musician’s book highlights spiritual practices he adopted to help him through the difficulties of anxiety and depression.
The Bounce Back singer and Jhené Aiko have reportedly been together since the release of their joint album, Twenty88, in 2016. In November 2022, they announced the birth of their son, Noah Hasani, on Instagram.

Last month, Big Sean thanked producer Tyler Perry for honoring his grandmother in the movie, The Six Triple Eight.
The singer’s late grandmother, Mildred V. Leonard, was said to be a member of the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion, which was the focus of the film.
The musician reportedly attended the movie premiere in Los Angeles with his mother, where he expressed gratitude to Perry for the work.
