Celebrated talk show host Oprah Winfrey hit the 71-year mark on Wednesday, January 29. To commemorate the day, she posted a reflection on Instagram, touching on aspects of her life.

Appreciating the different facets of her life, she noted that people can grow to become whatever they believe.

“…I much later realized you don’t become what you want, not even your greatest desires. You become what you believe.

She posted a picture of smiling and relaxing on the couch, to which some individuals responded with well wishes.

In September 2024, some reports suggested that sources close to the former talk show host were adamant about letting a documentary film go public.

That reportedly came after a clash with the filmmaker and director, Kevin MacDonald.

She was reported to have bought the broadcast rights to the production in a bid to stop the documentary from going live.

Other accounts indicated that Oprah had asked the filmmaker to edit parts of the project before it aired, but the director was not willing to do so.

Although her team denied this claim, they told some outlets that “it wasn’t the right time to do a documentary.”

Following information about the biopic being put on hold, some observers wondered if the television personality was afraid of letting sensitive information about her life get into the public domain.
