Wiz Khalifa has never shied away from admitting that he uses marijuana on a regular basis. The 36-year-old rapper discussed his marijuana use during an appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast on Wednesday.

Host Alex Cooper questioned Wiz about whether he ever shows up to his 10-year-old son Sebastian’s parent-teacher conferences high

The rapper responded, “Hell yeah. I’m pulling up stoned. They expect it.”

The “Black & Yellow” rapper went on: “They know what’s up. It’s not like the old days when smoking marijuana made you a bad parent. My son definitely smells like marijuana. I’m fairly certain he smells like marijuana, but I can’t smell it.”

The father of one went on to say that he would feel unauthentic if he skipped Sebastian’s events after using marijuana.

“In fact, I am coming up stoned and high in order for them to get a glimpse of the real me. They will not receive a fake version of me or this idealized parent that the public perceives you to be. I don’t identify as who I am because I’m famous or anything.”

“But it’s because it’s really what I believe in, and why not get the real me?” he asks. “Why would I have to pretend to be someone else or alter who I am in order to go to these places? I will never again live my life that way. No way, no way.”

Wiz has not hidden how becoming a father altered his life. The musician talked about how Sebastian pushed him to grow up in his 2019 documentary series, Wiz Khalifa: Behind the Cam.

In addition, Wiz Khalifa discussed his co-parenting style with his ex-wife Amber Rose, with whom he shares their son Sebastian.

“It’s good, he told Cooper. “It’s enjoyable. It’s not fun, but as a co-parent, I believe I’m in a good place with her. More so, over time, everything has simply calmed down, improved in satisfaction, and become a more routine process,” the rapper noted.
