Will Smith has been announced as one of the top acts to grace France’s ‘Positiv Festival’ next year. The event scheduled for July 31, 2025, at the Roman Theatre of Orange is said to be his first-ever concert in France.
The Bad Boys actor, according to organizers, would deliver some selections from his repertoire like Men in Black, Miami, and Gettin’ Jiggy Wit It.
His appearance is described as “a unique performance that will bring together more generations of fans of Will Smith’s inimitable energy!”
Will Smith released his last full-length album titled Lost and Found in 2005, which reached No. 6 on the Billboard 200 album chart.
His most recent acting roles include Bad Boys: Ride or Die. He won an Oscar for his work in the biographical tennis drama King Richard in 2022.
He became the talk of the town after slapping comedian Chris Rock for making a joke about his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith.
In July this year, Will Smith confirmed that a new album was on the way. The announcement came during an interview shared by the Instagram account Black Film Allies, where Smith delved into the details of his upcoming release.
He disclosed that he has been working in the studio for the past year and a half, creating what he describes as his most personal and powerful music project to date.
The central theme of the album, he explained, was to encourage listeners to find joy even in their darkest moments.
Smith took to Instagram on Tuesday, July 23, to give fans a sneak peek of his new collaboration with Russ, titled Work Of Art. In his post, he confirmed that the album was complete.
The album, tentatively titled “Dance In Your Darkest Moments,” appeared to be more than just a music collection. The phrase already had its own Instagram page and website, suggesting it was part of a broader initiative.
The initiative, described as a human wellness project, was to inspire self-exploration, encourage acceptance, and celebrate life, all inspired by Smith’s personal journey.
