Vanessa Hudgens, an American actress and singer, announced on Sunday that she is pregnant with her first child for her husband, Cole Tucker, a Major League Baseball outfielder.
The “High School Musical” actress walked out on the Oscars red carpet in Los Angeles wearing an all-black attire and posed for photographs while affectionately touching her tummy, thus announcing her pregnancy.
Hudgens and Tucker allegedly married in December in Tulum, Mexico, after announcing their union early in 2023. Hudgens was first rumoured to be dating Tucker in 2020 when she tweeted a selfie of herself with the caption “date night” and was subsequently captured holding hands with Tucker.
Vanessa Hudgens previously said that she met Tucker through a Zoom meditation session that a friend invited her to join.
“We started talking, and it’s wild that we found each other over Zoom,” Hudgens stated when appearing on a May 2021 edition of the “Drew Barrymore Show.” She giggled and said she “fully just slid into his DMs.”
Hudgens and “Dancing With the Stars” alum Julianne Hough will host ABC’s “The Oscars Red Carpet Show” ahead of Sunday’s Oscars show, which begins at 6:30 p.m. EDT/3:30 p.m. PDT. Hudgens returns to host the pre-show programme for the third time.
The Academy Awards will be shown on ABC an hour sooner, at 7 p.m. EDT/4 p.m. PDT, with Jimmy Kimmel returning as host.
