Tyler, The Creator has expressed displeasure at a store owner who allegedly posted security footage of his visit to the outlet, without his consent.
He shared an Instagram story on February 26, 2025, pouring out his concerns about the video which captured another artiste, Lil Yachty.

“Went to a shop with the bro and [they] posted some random hidden camera footage for some weird reason…Likes, clout, proof we were there? I don’t know but it is weird…someone that knows bounds wouldn’t do this,” he noted.
“Nothing in your mind said that wasn’t weird? Ain’t even know they were being recorded and then you upload it?…I will keep ‘complaining’ about this cause I’m not one of them passive… I will tell you when I don’t like it,” he added.

Tyler recently announced his first-ever Asia tour, and is expected to play shows at Manila and Bangkok, later in September this year. Fans had since requested that he extend the tour to other regions.
The singer set an impressive record with his album, Chromakopia, which became the biggest debut for a hip-hop album on Spotify in 2024.

On the first day of release, the album reportedly gained over 85 million streams on Spotify’s global charts. He celebrated the album’s release in style with a special listening event at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.
Fans were treated to a fully immersive experience at the event, which Tyler attended in a black mask and military attire to perform the song on the compilation.

The album was described as compositions which focused on the early years of the artiste, as he reflected on family, growth, and the passage of time.
