South African sensation Tyla has unveiled the tracklist for her much-anticipated debut studio album.

The self-titled project boasts an impressive lineup of collaborations with industry heavyweights such as Travis Scott and Gunna, among other notable artists.

The album’s grand finale is a remix of Tyla’s breakthrough single, Water, featuring none other than Travis Scott. The original Water made waves in the music industry last year, marking the first entry of a South African solo artist into the US Billboard Hot 100 in over half a century.

The monumental achievement was further cemented when the track earned Tyla the inaugural Grammy Award for Best African Music Performance in 2024.

Tyla’s passion for her craft and her homeland was evident in a 2023 interview with Rolling Stone. She expressed her belief that “Water” was not just the song of the year, but also a representation of the sound of Africa. She emphasized that her music is not just for Africa, but for the world, symbolizing her mission to bring Africa to the global stage.

With the release of her debut album, Tyla is poised to continue her meteoric rise in the music industry. The world waits with great anticipation for the album’s release, ready to be immersed in the unique soundscapes that Tyla has crafted.

Apart from Travis Scott and Gunna, Tyla’s debut album features collaborations with several other artists. These include Becky G, Tems, Skillibeng, and Kelvin Momo.

ach of these artists brings their unique style and talent to the album, contributing to its diverse and vibrant sound. Tyla’s collaborations reflect her commitment to creating a blend of African and Western music, and her desire to bring the sound of Africa to the world.
