Travis Scott has officially surpassed Kanye West to become the third most-streamed rapper in the world, quickly closing in on Eminem’s position in the top three.

According to data released by RapTV and confirmed by streaming analytics platform Kworb, Scott now boasts a staggering 49 billion streams on Spotify.

Eminem currently holds the No. 2 spot with 51 billion streams, but both are far behind Drake, who reigns supreme with a massive 103 billion streams. Kanye West, meanwhile, has slipped to fourth place with 48 billion streams, followed by Future in fifth with 40 billion streams.

Travis Scott’s rapid rise can be attributed, in part, to a recent surge in streams for his 2014 mixtape Days Before Rodeo. Now eight years old, the mixtape has seen renewed commercial success after its official vinyl release. This surge is expected to help Days Before Rodeo clinch the top spot on the Billboard 200 chart, four weeks after narrowly missing out on the number one position.

The mixtape initially missed the top spot despite earning over 360,000 equivalent units in its first week. Now, thanks to the release of vinyl copies, Days Before Rodeo is projected to move 130,000 equivalent units in its fourth week, with most of that figure coming from pure sales.

If the projections hold, this boost would push Scott past current chart leader Sabrina Carpenter, who initially claimed the top spot with her album Short ‘n Sweet, which debuted with 362,000 units. Days Before Rodeo currently sits at No. 106 on the Billboard 200, but its climb back to the top would mark a significant leap.

The mixtape suffered a sharp drop in sales after its second week, sliding from No. 2 to No. 30, a record decline for an album that still remained on the Billboard chart.
