Houston rapper Travis Scott found himself in hot water early after being arrested in Miami. According to CNN, Scott was detained at Miami-Dade’s Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.

The incident leading to his arrest unfolded at the Miami Beach Marina, where Scott was reportedly causing a disturbance on a charter boat.

The Miami Beach Police Department confirmed that Scott was taken into custody at 1:17 a.m. for disorderly intoxication and trespassing.

Authorities stated that he was intoxicated, causing a ruckus, and had been asked to leave multiple times by the boat’s owner and crew. Despite these requests, Travis Scott refused to vacate the premises.

Upon being confronted by the boat owner as he was disembarking, Scott allegedly became irate, screaming profanities.

He left the area briefly, only to return and continue his disruptive behavior, leading to his arrest. Travis Scott was released later in the morning after posting a $650 bond, broken down into $500 for trespassing and $150 for disorderly intoxication.

His mugshot, taken at the Miami-Dade Corrections facility, quickly made rounds on social media, sparking a flurry of reactions from fans and critics alike.

Shortly after news of his arrest circulated online, Travis Scott took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to address the situation with a succinct and cryptic post, simply stating, “Lol.”

Travis Scott’s tour

Despite the legal hiccup, Travis Scott’s professional commitments remain on track. The rapper will kick off his Circus Maximus Tour in Europe later this month.

His first performance is set for the Netherlands on June 28, followed by shows in Poland, Switzerland, France, Belgium, England, Germany, the Czech Republic, and Italy throughout July.
