Torrei Hart & Tameka Foster: Ex-Wives Of Kevin Hart & Usher Struggling To Find New Love; Here Is Why

Torrei Hart and Tameka Foster, Kevin Hart’s and Usher’s ex-wives, respectively, have spoken about the complexities of their dating lives, having been in a relationship with two of the most famous celebrities in showbiz.

In a recent interview, they discussed how constant comparisons to their high-profile exes have affected their dating lives.

Tameka was Usher’s first wife, and the two were married from 2005 to 2009. From their union, the couple had two sons, Usher Raymond V and Naviyd Ely Raymond, but they have had challenges trying to navigate co-parenting since their divorce.

On the other hand, Torrei and Kevin got married in 2003, when they were 25 and 24, respectively, and welcomed two kids, a daughter, Heaven, and a son, Hendrix.

While both Kevin and Usher have moved on in life, their former partners claim that some of the men they met often felt “intimidated,” not just by the success of their ex-partners but also by the “lasting public memory of their past relationships.”

In the podcast conversation, Torrei said some men had made comments like, “When I get rich, I’m coming for you, Torrei, as if financial success is a prerequisite for dating her.”

She emphasized that she never asked for money, but the misconception about financial status had been a barrier in her relationships.

For her part, Tameka mentioned that some men were “overly conscious of her past with Usher, which always led to awkward interactions.”

She explained that she and her friend were not looking for “corny” replicas of their exes, and urged men who approached them “to be themselves.”

“Dear men, we’re not looking for our exes in any of you, we’re not. Be yourself,” she stated.

Torrei also addressed the myth that she “exclusively dates short men,” adding that it was a one-time occurrence. “So if you’re tall, I like you too,” she added.

Tameka also clarified that she did not prefer younger men, despite the eight-year age gap with Usher.
