Tiger Woods has publicly acknowledged his relationship with Vanessa Trump, the former daughter-in-law of US President Donald Trump.

Tiger reportedly planned to keep his relationship with Vanessa Trump a secret at first, but once their developing romance became public, he was forced to alter his intentions.

Someone in his closest circle allegedly said, “He knew it would be a huge story when it came out, and he wasn’t very fond of it”.

However, Tiger’s relationship with Trump will always generate headlines, which is precisely what he wished to avoid.

On Sunday, Woods, 49, posted pictures of Vanessa and himself on social media, saying,

“Love is in the air, and life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey through life together.” “At this time we would appreciate privacy for all those close to our hearts.”

While avoiding public spaces and not discussing each other with their acquaintances, the couple made every effort to conceal their romance.

Rumors about their connection had surfaced in gossip magazines in recent weeks, but it is unknown what spurred the public declaration.

Woods, who has won 15 major titles, is renowned for keeping his personal life private after his playing career and public image were negatively impacted in the 2000s by the revelation of his marital infidelity and sex scandals.

He admitted himself into a sex addiction rehab clinic and went through an acrimonious split from his first wife, Elin Nordegren, months later after six years of marriage.

Vanessa, 47, was married to Donald Trump Jr. for 13 years. The pair, who have five children, divorced in 2018.

Various media outlets have reported that Tiger Woods’s children attend the same school as Vanessa Trump’s, which draws the connections.

Interestingly, the new couple both have children: Kai and Charlie, who are junior golfers.

Kai Trump, 17, has announced her commitment to playing collegiate golf at the University of Miami in 2026.

They both also played at a junior invite-only tournament in South Carolina last week.
