Ace rapper The Game has taken a swipe at J. Cole for his apology to Kendrick Lamar and what he sees as diluted rap feuds.

The Game, who has had his fair share of rap ‘beefs’ with artists like 50 Cent, Jay-Z, Meek Mill, and Eminem, was responding to a post by Lamar “Ice” Burney, co-host of The Joe Budden Podcast.

Ice had expressed his desire to see a rapper diss The Game to showcase what a proper diss record looks like. This came after the release of Kendrick Lamar’s diss track Euphoria aimed at Drake.

The Game, who has worked with Cole, Kendrick, and Drake, reminded fans of his prowess in rap ‘beefs’. He stated that his level of disrespect knows no bounds and that he can rap. He also criticized the current state of hip-hop, which he believes has been watered down, especially after J. Cole’s apology.

On his Instagram Stories, The Game questioned who is softer these days – the rappers or the fans. He also addressed the idea that Drake took shots at Kendrick in their collaboration 100, adding that even if Drake had subtly included something, it’s all part of hip hop. He added that Kendrick is lyrically equipped to handle any stray shots and return fire.

When asked about who would win in a rap battle, The Game praised both Kendrick and Drake, expressing his desire to sit back and enjoy the showdown between two of the greatest artists of all time.

The Game is not the only one who has taken issue with J. Cole’s apology to Kendrick for his diss on “7 Minute Drill.” 50 Cent, his former G-Unit label boss, also seemed unimpressed by J. Cole’s decision to back out of the battle.
