Award-winning female artiste, Taylor Swift, has expressed her gratitude to her fans for making her album a success.

Swift recently released her re-recorded album, 1989 (Taylor’s Version), and in all her social media activity since the release, has been to thank everyone who made “her wildest dreams come true”.

She began by thanking rapper and singer Kendrick Lamar for re-recording his Bad Blood remix verse, and then she thanked her “precocious young son”, Jack Antonoff, for their first collaboration.

Reports indicate that Taylor Swift’s 1989 (Taylor’s Version) sold over 1.1 million copies in the U.S. in its first six days of release (Oct. 27–Nov. 1).

Out of that total, $580,000 comes from vinyl purchases, making it the biggest week for vinyl record sales since Luminate started keeping track of sales back in 1991. Swift smashes her own record for contemporary vinyl sales, which was achieved by the release of Midnights in its first week of sales (ending Oct. 27, 2022).

If the 1989 album debuts at the top the Billboard 200, it will mark Swift’s 13th No. 1 album, extending her record for the most among women

The 21 songs on the streaming edition of 1989 (Taylor’s Version) collectively generated over 337 million on-demand official streams in its first six days of release.

It can be recalled that Taylor Swift was reported to be grabbing all the headlines with her The Eras Tour which had been receiving massive applause.

The film premiere held in Los Angeles saw attendance from diva, Beyonce, actor Adam Sandler and Racheal Zegler.

Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour has already made $100 million in advance ticket sales breaking Justin Bieber’s 2011 record of $99 million for his concert-themed film, Never Say Never.
