Sukihana knows fully that her music is intended primarily for adult listeners, but that doesn’t mean it will always be that way.
The rapper defended her record during a recent appearance on the podcast My Expert Opinion with Math Hoffa, stating that parents ought to keep an eye on what their kids are listening to.
“I don’t let my kids listen to my music. I’m an adult entertainer,” the mother of three shared.
“I make vulgar music, and just like hip-hop. What I will tell you is that kids should be kids. Just like I monitor who my kids listen to, I wouldn’t let my kids listen to me.”
Suki did say that her kids would be able to play a children’s song she writes in the future.
The contentious rapper is experimenting with her style for both herself and her kids.
She stated, “I won’t lie, but I will accept responsibility for something. I feel like I’m growing up now. People have been watching me since the beginning, and even though they know who I am, they still think I’m over there. However, I’ve matured as a woman, and I do have plans to release more kid-friendly music. I do have an influence on a lot of people,” Sukihana went on.
Her most recent song was a vicious jab at JT. The Love & Hip-Hop: Miami star stated that JT was “hating” on another City Girl, Yung Miami, and accused her of being high on drugs. Suki also made fun of Lil Uzi Vert, JT’s lover.
“I was finna roast tf out of floptavia, aka Ms. S**tty Girl, during her coke rant, but I’m going to take it to the booth and show you I can really rap bum a** long t**tie bed bug looking winchhhhhhhhhhhh, Sukihana tweeted.
