Talking of performances, showstopper Stonebwoy will shake up the stage at the 2024 Reggae Geel Festival in Belgium. The event is scheduled from August 2 to August 3, 2024, with a host of artistes on the line-up.
Stonebwoy’s appearance at the show follows his recent recognition as Artist of the Year at the Telecel Ghana (TGMA) Music Awards.
Reggae Geel, one of Europe’s premier reggae festivals, attracts music enthusiasts from around the world to enjoy a diverse array of reggae talent against the backdrop of Belgium’s scenic landscapes.
Guests will be treated to a variety of reggae tunes including dancehall, and roots reggae across different stages which will be set up at the event.
The show also offers mainstream and underground artists to showcase their qualities, while providing a platform for stunning visual arts, poetry, film, and workshops.

Last year, Stonebwoy released his 5th Dimension album and crowned it with the mega Bhim Concert in Accra on December 22, 2023. A host of artistes including Jamaican singer Jahmiel turned up at the show which was a fusion of Afrobeats and Dancehall.
Before that, the Manodzi hitmaker completed the 5th Dimension album tour which culminated in a well-patronized performance at Electric Brixton in London on October 29, 2023.
Electric Brixton was reportedly transformed into a vibrant centre of culture and music as fans from all walks of life, including renowned football stars, Thomas Partey, and Kudus Mohammed, gathered to witness Stonebwoy’s thrilling performance.
He later extended gratitude to patrons who made the 5th Dimension album tour a success and also appeared on stage to celebrate the 40th music anniversary of African music legend, Angelique Kidjo, who was featured on the 5th Dimension album.
