Sheff G and Sleepy Hallow have come under fire from Peter Rosenberg for showing up to a recent Donald Trump event in the Bronx and sharing the platform with the former president, who is on the verge of being found guilty of a felony.

The drill rappers’ support of Trump prompted Hot 97’s Peter to threaten to pull them from the Summer Jam program on Thursday.

“I’m disgusted. Hit ’em both with the button as far as I’m concerned,” Rosenberg said.

“I hit everybody at the station, ‘Let’s pull them off Summer Jam.’ I just want y’all to know, that is me, Karen Rosenberg. I don’t want ’em on Summer Jam.”

Rosenberg did admit that Sleepy Hallow doesn’t appear serious about his support of the former president.

“You can tell it’s a big joke to him, which to me in some ways makes it worse,” he added.

“But [when he said]’make America great again,’ he can barely hold himself together from laughing. What kind of endorsement is that?”

However, the Brooklyn drill rappers have since responded to Rosenberg putting in a word with higher-ups to have them removed from the iconic hip-hop show.

Their response started, “This old ni**a is a di*k eater.” He later added, “See y’all at Summer Jam this Sunday. F**k what them old headz talking bout.”

Sheff G also in a statement, said that he was unaware that he needed to align himself politically with Hot 97 to succeed and that the station had never given him credit for any accomplishments in the past.

“Damn… thought we were free to vote for whoever we wanted. I never knew we had to have the same political opinion as @laurastylez, @oldmanebro, and @rosenbergradio in order to gain success. Imagine that… crazy thing is Throughout all my success, I never saw neither of you mention my name,” he argued.

“Ya’ll sit silently and watch lol (whisper), but as soon as something that y’all consider negative comes up, y’all quick to (shout) lol y’all the reason our generation is the way it is. I’m not even gone, say no disrespectful sh*t either. It’s all love,” he concluded with a blue heart emoji.

Sheff G also shared several screenshots of fans and fellow artistes who support the pair performing at Summer Jam.

When it comes to celebrities endorsing Trump, Sleepy Hallow and Sheff G aren’t the only hip-hop figures to support him; artistes such as Ye, Amber Rose, and Sexyy Red, who are also booked for Summer Jam, have all openly shown their support.
