Houston rapper, Sauce Walka, is on medical treatment after he was reportedly shot in Memphis, sources close to the incident have said.
The incident took place on Saturday, March 22, along George W. Lee Avenue, according to a social media post by the Memphis Police Department.

One person died from the shooting while another said to be in “non-critical condition” was transported to a hospital for treatment.
Rapper Sauce Walka was later confirmed as the victim who was transported to the hospital for a “non-critical condition.” He was said to have been shot in the leg. The identity of the man who was shot dead had not been revealed, he was believed to be a friend of Sauce Walka.

Preliminary police report indicated that the incident “was not a random act of violence” and that the victims and suspects likely knew each other.
They added that a vehicle belonging to the suspect had been identified, as efforts were being made to make an arrest.

“This appears to be a targeted shooting incident. The victims were outside by a vehicle. The suspect vehicle pulled up. Multiple people got out of that vehicle, fired shots without engaging in any conversation, they got back into the white vehicle and fled,” A Memphis Police Department spokesperson was quoted, following video footage of the incident.
