Abbott Elementary star Quinta Brunson is calling it quits with her husband, Kevin Anik, after three and a half years of marriage.
Quinta Brunson, best known for being the Emmy-winning creator of the popular TV series, Abbott Elementary, which she also co-writes and stars in, filed for divorce in the Los Angeles County Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences.
Court documents reported by various news outlets allege that Brunson and her soon-to-be ex-husband have a postnuptial agreement in place, and she is requesting that their assets be divided accordingly.
Although little is known about their relationship, Quinta and Kevin are said to have gotten engaged in July 2020. Court documents say they tied the knot in 2021 and do not share any children.
Since then, the pair have kept their relationship under the radar and haven’t posted much on social media.
But, Quinta mentioned Kevin, who happens to be a sales manager, during her acceptance speech for her big Emmy win for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series for “Abbott Elementary.”
So far, Quinta Brunson, who has had an outstanding career in Hollywood not only as an actress but also as a comedian, writer, and producer and has also received two Emmy Awards and nine nominations, is yet to publicly confirm the news.
