The feud between rappers Pusha T and Drake continues to make headlines even in 2024.
The latest jab comes from Pusha T, who has dismissed the idea that his long-standing adversary poses any real threat beyond the recording studio.
Drake, also known as the ‘6 God’, has seen his list of detractors increase recently.
Notable figures such as Kendrick Lamar and Future have taken shots at him in their music, while Rick Ross has made a statement by unfollowing him on Instagram.
Adding to Drake’s woes, Pusha T, or ‘King Push’, has ridiculed Drake’s ‘Mob Ties’ persona, which has become a focal point in these recent disputes. This persona, which Drake has cultivated over the years, has been called into question by fans and critics alike.
One fan took to social media to highlight this, stating: “I just wanted to point out that after all these years of mob talk from Drake, nobody ever laid a finger on @PUSHA_T.” In response, the Clipse rapper retorted with a dismissive: “Not a pinky nail… [crying face emoji].”
The animosity between Pusha T and Drake has been ongoing for over a decade, with both artists trading barbs in their music. The feud reached a fever pitch in 2018 when Pusha T released “The Story of Adidon.” In this track, he revealed that Drake had secretly fathered a child with a former adult film actress. Pusha T has been in countless feuds over the course of his career.
In 2006 he beefed rapper Lil Wayne, this feud began when Lil Wayne was featured on the cover of Vibe magazine wearing BAPE, a popular streetwear brand at the time. Clipse, the duo that Pusha T was part of, took issue with this as they were known for wearing the brand. This led to the release of their song “Mr. Me Too” which was seen as a diss towards Lil Wayne.
