There was chaos in Paris when American rapper Offset got into a heated altercation with French rapper Gazo and his entourage.
The confrontation, captured on video, unfolded at the entrance of the luxurious Hôtel du Collectionneur and stemmed from an alleged financial dispute.
Offset, formerly of Migos, exited the hotel when Gazo’s crew confronted him. The situation quickly escalated, prompting Offset’s security team to restrain him as tensions flared.
A full-blown melee reportedly erupted, with punches and kicks exchanged. During the commotion, someone from Gazo’s entourage kicked a member of Offset’s team in the head.
The conflict became so intense that Offset managed to break free from his security detail and retaliated by kicking one of Gazo’s men.
He was forced back inside the hotel, but Gazo’s crew attempted to push into the five-star establishment. Amid the struggle, a woman fell hard on the pavement, adding to the mayhem.
Law enforcement arrived shortly after, but no arrests were made. According to reports, the incident stemmed from a financial disagreement over a feature and music video appearance.
Offset was allegedly paid $150,000 for the collaboration but failed to meet the required expectations, leading Gazo to demand a refund. Offset reportedly refused, sparking the heated confrontation.
Interestingly, despite the chaos, Gazo later shared a photo of himself with Offset on Instagram, promoting their upcoming collaboration, ‘Wemby.’ This suggests the two artists may have resolved their differences.
