Nicki Minaj is in trouble with her supposed former manager, who accuses her of “assault, battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.”
According to reports, a man named Brandon Garrett, claiming to be the Pink Friday singer’s former manager, said he was assaulted backstage at a concert held in the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit in April 2024.
According to the complainant, the alleged assault occurred because Nicki discovered and was “disappointed” that he (Garrett) had someone else pick up her medication. This was after the singer had questioned people about their responsibilities.
He said Nicki Minaj berated him and slapped him so hard that he fell to the ground, adding that the rapper told him to get the f***out.
Garret also claimed the celebrated performer denied him access to the tour bus and left him stranded in Detroit without transportation.

For this and other reasons, he is also suing for damages in an undisclosed amount, but Nicki Minaj’s lawyer, Judd Burstein, has described the lawsuit as frivolous.
“At this time, no complaint has been served upon [Nicki] and therefore, we are unaware of the specific allegations,” the representative was quoted, expressing hope that the matter would be resolved swiftly in Nicki Minaj’s favor.
Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 World Tour has been said to be full of drama, as she was arrested in Amsterdam and accused of carrying drugs.
She recorded the incident on Instagram Live as she was taken into custody but denied the claims of drug possession.
In October, the rap goddess celebrated her son’s fourth birthday with adorable pictures of the little boy on Instagram.
The photo collection showed the son, also known as Papa Bear, spending time with his father,, Kenneth Petty. In one picture, the child is sitting behind a car steering wheel, pretending to drive.
