Nicki Minaj has apologized to her fans in New Orleans for missing a concert at the last minute, and consequently promised them a make-up show in the course of her Pink Friday 2 World Tour.
Her assurance allegedly comes after she faced serious backlash for disappointing her fans.
Taking to X, the 41-year-old expressed her sincerest apologies to her fans, saying that they meant so much to her, and as such was disappointed plans didn’t go as expected.
She assured them that she would make things right and give them 100% of herself and nothing less.
Opening up on the real reason for her inability to show up, she explained that it hurt her to know her fans bought tickets for her show, only for her to end up with flu. She ended by thanking them for their patience and well wishes.
Her apology appeared to have done the trick and made the situation better. One fan responded to her tweet by sending her “love and good vibes” adding that it was important she took good care of herself.
In an earlier report, Nicki Minaj was reportedly infuriated that a track from her album, Pink Friday 2, found its way to streaming platforms ahead of the official release.
Per a report by hotnewhiphop.com, the New York-raised rapper released a track from the album, Bahm Bahm, and was shocked when it landed on streaming platforms, as it was meant for her website only.
Fans were calling for it on readily available services, but Nicki was adamant and was subsequently shocked to learn from her fans that it had been leaked on streaming platforms.
In a since-deleted tweet, Nicki slammed the streaming services and demanded it be taken down immediately. “Oh hello no! I want all my money back from this thievery! That would’ve been at least an extra 6 to 7 dollars & like 48 cents added to my real account b!ch.”
