While some celebrities are dissociating themselves from the embattled Sean Diddy Combs, television personality and rapper Nick Cannon has recalled the moments he spent at parties organized by the Bad Boys boss.
He, however, clarified that the parties were not one of the so-called “freak off” sessions and its related escapades by Diddy, which became a talking point recently.
Nick Cannon, in an interview on The Breakfast Club, said he was about 16 to 17 years old when he attended one of Diddy’s parties.
“I live my truth. I remember standing outside, you know, trying to get into a Puff party out here in New York… Everybody was Like, how the ‘One More Chance’ video looked, that’s the real stuff out here.
“I was in there Harlem shaking, doing all of that stuff,” the father of 12 recalled, explaining that the Bad Boy parties were the talk of the town back in the day so he had to find his way to one of the events.

Though Tony Buzbee, the lawyer representing Diddy, had said many other celebrities could be implicated in the legal battle, it appears Nick has no fears or nothing to hide.
“The day will come when we will name names other than Sean Combs, and there’s a lot of names…It’s a long list already, but because of the nature of this case, we are going to make damn sure — damn sure — that we’re right before we do that,” the lawyer had stated.
Nicholas Scott Cannon, 44, began his career as a teenager on All That show before moving on to host other programs like his own The Nick Cannon Show, Wild ‘n Out, America’s Got Talent, Lip Sync Battle Shorties, and others.
He starred in movies including Drumline, Love Don’t Cost a Thing, and Roll Bounce, and as a rapper, he released his debut self-titled album in 2003 with the single “Gigolo”, collaborating with singer R. Kelly.
Early this month, Diddy’s mother, Janice Small Combs, released a statement through her attorney, seeking to defend her “imperfect” son.
“It is heartbreaking to see my son judged not for the truth, but for a narrative created out of lies…To bear witness to what seems to be like a public lynching of my son before he has had the opportunity to prove his innocence is a pain too unbearable to put into words.
“Like every human being, my son deserves to have his day in court, to finally share his side, and to prove his innocence,” Ms Combs was quoted in the statement.
Diddy has been denied bail several times as court hearings are expected to begin soon.
