Hitmaker Mr Eazi will release the music video for Panadol — a single off his Evil Genius album project, which was received with much acclaim last year.

The musician announced this on his timeline on X (formally Twitter), apologizing to his followers for the “delay” in putting together the visuals. “Panadol video this month finally! I’m sorry for the wait,” he told his fans.

In January this year, the Leg Over crooner released the video for Orokoro — another fine song on the 2023 project- featuring legendary singer Angélique Kidjo. Mr Eazi was impressed with the collaboration and the video, which has gathered two million YouTube views in five months.

“I’ve gone full circle, from watching “Wombo Lombo” to co-writing and featuring on mama’s  [Angélique Kidjo] album, ending up on the same song with her and Salif Keita, to now having the living legend on my album and shooting the video in Paris!” He wrote while preparing for the video shoot last year.

In October 2023, the established Afro musician and entrepreneur released The Evil Genius project, delving into subjects such as love, betrayal, loneliness, and family.

The album with over nine million streams on Audiomack alone, has some top selections like Advice, Panadol, Jamboree, Chop Time No Friend, and many others. His followers congratulated the effort, describing him as a legend and inspiration to many young talents.

Fans will now be looking forward to how the upcoming Panadol video pans out. That notwithstanding, Mr Eazi has also spoken about plans to hold an “Evil Genius Concert.”

“My Superfans deserve a night with the Evil Genius’ concert performing only songs from the album, by the way,” he stated previously.

However, it appears the arrangements for the concert are yet to be concluded, though followers have expressed interest in the show.
