Producers working on Michael Jackson’s biopic say the production is likely to be split into two parts, possibly to save time and space.
Sources close to the team say the current cut of the film lasts four hours, but they are hoping to add other parts that could make it longer.

This development prompted the director, Antoine Fuqua, to consider dividing the project Michael into two parts. The film is scheduled for release on October 3 in the United States.
Observers say the project may not meet the official release date announced, as producers continue to make calculations about how the final project should turn out.

The film will tell the story of the life and career of Michael Jackson, with his nephew, Jaafar Jackson, featuring prominently. Other cast members include Colman Domingo, Miles Teller, and Kat Graham.
The official trailer for the project is yet to be released, but snippets were made available to movie critics in April 2024.

The film’s producer, Graham King, had described the biopic as “an inside look at the most prolific artist who ever lived’ as “there are elements of drama, intrigue, and emotional states.”
He noted that he had been working on the film for seven years and conducted hundreds of interviews to get the best insights for the production.

Meanwhile, Paris Jackson, daughter of the late Michael Jackson, recently opened up about her private battle with addiction, celebrating five years of sobriety in a heartfelt Instagram post.
The musician, who struggled with heroin and alcohol dependency, shared her transformative journey, offering hope to others facing similar challenges.
