Michael B. Jordan will once again use his directorial effort to great effect on the remake of Thomas Crown Affair.

This is not the first picture that Michael has directed; he previously collaborated with MGM to serve as director of “Creed III” and “Creed IV” which is the first installment in the Rocky series to feature the same director twice.

Michael B. Jordan told TIME then: “I contracted the virus. I adore it. Following the boxing film’s success. I’m excited to be behind the camera again next time.”

Along with executive producer Alan Trustman, who penned the 1968 film, there will be other producers in the persons of Patrick McCormick and Marc Toberoff.

Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway starred in Norman Jewison’s original adaptation of The Thomas Crown Affair.

Dunaway, an investigator, discovers his unlawful actions.

Pierce Brosnan played the billionaire in the first remake of Thomas Crown Affair in 1999, while Renee Russo played the astute investigator.

The plot of Michael B. Jordan’s adaptation of the movie has not been revealed, but according to Deadline, Wes Tooke and Justin Britt-Gibson wrote early drafts of a screenplay based on the original before locking in with Pearce.
