Multi-platinum music producer Metro Boomin has addressed the swirling rumors surrounding the relationship between Drake and Future.

The duo, known for their chart-topping collaborations, has recently been at the center of speculation regarding a potential feud. However, Metro Boomin is here to set the record straight.

The controversy ignited when a social media account on X (formerly known as Twitter) pointed out a woman allegedly linked to both artists. According to the account, the supposed woman was the muse behind the song Magic Don Juan (Princess Diana), off Metro and Future’s recently released album.

But Metro Boomin, who recently surpassed 50 Cent’s Spotify streaming record, wasted no time dismissing these claims. In a statement on X, he wrote:

“Y’all n****s stop making stuff up for engagement and enjoy the music.”

Is Future beefing Drake?

The history between Drake and Future is rich and multifaceted. Their collaborative journey began with the 2015 joint mixtape What a Time To Be Alive. From there, they churned out hits like Life Is Good, Wait For U, and Where Ya At. Their chemistry extended beyond the studio, culminating in a successful co-headlining tour.

Yet, recent developments have hinted at tension. Future and Metro Boomin’s joint album, We Don’t Trust You, features a scathing verse from Kendrick Lamar aimed squarely at Drake and J. Cole. Meanwhile, Future’s lyrics seemed to aim at his former collaborator.

50 Cent reignites Mayweather ‘beef’ with new jab

In other news, 50 Cent has once again stirred controversy by revisiting his criticism of boxing champion Floyd Mayweather, doubling down on illiteracy allegations.

Shortly after announcing his upcoming debut fiction novel, 50 Cent turned to social media to promote The Accomplice, and slyly threw shade at his longtime rival in the same breath.

“I have no beef with anyone, I even made sure the audiobook comes out at the same time so champ won’t feel left out. 🤷🏽‍♂️ GLG🚦GreenLightGang 🎥 The accomplice Movie coming soon,” he wrote alongside a snap featuring the book’s cover.”
