Megan Thee Stallion, the acclaimed rapper and cultural icon, has been sued by her former photographer, Emilio Garcia.

The lawsuit, filed on Tuesday in Los Angeles, alleges harassment and the artist’s creation of a hostile, abusive work environment.

NBC News reports that Garcia, who claims to have worked with Megan Thee Stallion on a full-time basis from 2019 to 2023, has levelled several serious allegations against the rapper. Among the claims, Garcia accuses the artist of fat-shaming him and subjecting him to unwanted and inappropriate behavior.

Garcia claims to have been forced to watch Megan Thee Stallion have sex

One particular incident, which allegedly took place in June 2022 during a trip to Ibiza, has been highlighted in the lawsuit. Garcia alleges that while in the back of an SUV with Megan Thee Stallion and her friends, the rapper engaged in sexual activity with one of the women right in front of him.

“I felt uncomfortable. I was kind of frozen, and I was shocked. At kind of just be the overall audacity to do this right, right beside me,” Garcia told NBC News, describing the alleged incident.

According to the lawsuit, after realizing Garcia’s presence, Megan Thee Stallion allegedly warned him, “Don’t ever discuss what you saw.”

Garcia further claims that he was booked for fewer gigs with the rapper following the Ibiza trip, and his pay structure was eventually changed. Ultimately, he alleges that Roc Nation, the entertainment company associated with the rapper, informed him that his services were no longer required.

In the lawsuit, Garcia seeks unpaid wages, interest on unpaid wages, unpaid overtime wages, and other employee benefits, amounting to a six-figure sum.

At the time of writing, neither she nor her representatives have commented on the allegations.
