Megan Thee Stallion’s new album is now available on streaming services, the singer announced on Friday, asking her fans which of the tracks they want a music video for.
Last week, the Cobra composer posted the tracklist for the 18-track compilation with titles like Rattle, Where Them Girls At, Accent, Find Out, Miami Blue, and others.
The new project titled Megan has collaborations with artistes including Grammy-winner Victoria Monét on the rendition Spin. Other guests include GloRilla, Kyle Richh, and Yuki Chiba.
Before announcing the new project, she premiered the song titled Boa on Friday, May 10, 2024. The cover art of the song posted on her socials had the inscription “Boa: Curse of The Serpent Woman,” which got her followers talking.
The cover design looked like the case of a video game and was described by some of her fans as “the most creative idea ever.”
Megan’s new work is considered a kind of a “rebirth” after she has been able to bring closure to the Tory Lanez shooting case, as the culprit serves a 10-year jail term.
“This is music I would like if I wasn’t Megan Thee Stallion. I don’t want to say I’m tapping into other genres. I’m just tapping into other sounds. But it’s still very much Megan Thee Stallion,” she was quoted in an interview.
The American singer has been on The Hot Girl Summer Tour, since May 14, 2024. Her schedule indicated a journey through 31 cities. It started in Minneapolis, USA and she is expected to wrap up her performance in Washington, DC, on Jul 27, 2024.
Female artistes featured on her new album have part of the tour, which is said to be her first-ever, headlining tour in arenas across the globe. A concert has been scheduled to begin in Glasgow, Scotland, on July 4.
Meghan’s 2024 single, HISS reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in February. Before this, a fascinating video for Cobra also gathered over a million views in less than 24 hours after its premiere.
