Meek Mill is not backing down from the rumors that he had a sexual relationship with Diddy, who is facing multiple lawsuits for sexual assault and other crimes.

The Philadelphia rapper also has a long-standing feud with DJ Akademiks, who stirred up the speculation by reading a lawsuit filed by a former producer of Diddy, Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, on his livestream.

The lawsuit, which seeks $30 million in damages, alleges that Diddy sexually harassed and drugged Jones for over a year, and also claimed that Diddy told him he had sex with several musicians, including a redacted name that was described as “a Philadelphia rapper who dated Nicki Minaj”. Many fans assumed that the rapper was Meek Mill, who dated Minaj from 2015 to 2017.

He denied the allegations on X (Twitter) and called out Akademiks for spreading lies and trying to destroy Black men. He also asked for Akademiks’ address, implying that he wanted to confront him in person. Akademiks responded by mocking his credibility and challenging him to follow through on his threats.

The two exchanged insults and threats on X for two days, with Meek Mill saying he would “die to shut [Akademiks] down” and Akademiks accusing him of being a “house n***a slave” for billionaires like Michael Rubin and Robert Kraft, who have supported Meek Mill’s criminal justice reform efforts.

He eventually deleted his tweets and said that he was advised by the governor of Pennsylvania, Josh Shapiro, to stop engaging with Akademiks. He also announced that he had new music coming out soon. Akademiks, however, continued to taunt Meek Mill and question his authenticity.

The beef between the rapper and DJ Akademiks is not new, as they have been at odds for years over various issues, such as Meek Mill’s feud with Drake, his prison sentence, and his involvement in the Roc Nation CEO Desiree Perez’s pardon by former President Donald Trump. Akademiks has often criticized Meek Mill on his platforms, while Meek Mill has accused Akademiks of being a “bad police” and a “culture vulture”.
