It may be a lonely Christmas for the Queen of Christmas, Mariah Carey, as her relationship reportedly suffers a setback.
The iconic singer and her boyfriend Bryan Tanaka, are reported to have parted ways, after sevens together.
According to Page Six, a source close to the couple has confirmed the rumours of a split in the Carey-Tanaka love affair.

Citing close sources to the couple, the report indicated that that the big age gap between Carey and Tanaka is a major contributory factor. While Carey is 54, Tanaka, once a dancer for the singer, is 40 years old.
At her age and being a mother of a set of twins which she had with ex-husband Nick Cannon, Carey is not interested in have children. But Tanaka is said to be seeking to start a family.
“He wants to have a family. That’s not where she is at,” the source stated. Tanaka himself remains without children.

Amid the news of their split, Carey has gone solo on her annual Aspen holiday trip as well as her “Merry Christmas” tour this November.
Insiders suggest Tanaka is now eager to embark on new life adventures independently following the amicable breakup. Carey also hinted at relationship struggles in recent interviews when reflecting on a tough year.

at Madison Square Garden for a surprise live performance.
Mariah Carey’s Merry Christmas One & All! Tour was joined by Grande and Hudson, where the pop trio premiered a festive live collaboration of “Oh Santa!” on stage.
Carey’s rendition of “Oh Santa!” with Grande and Hudson was released during the holiday season in 2020, and it was included on her Magical Christmas Special that year. On Carey’s Christmas song, the three stars swap verses and harmonies.
