Rapper Curtis Jackson famed as 50 Cent, has taken a swipe at Diddy known in real life as Sean Combs following Cassie’s lawsuit for rape and abuse brought against him.
Casandra Ventura who has taken up the stage name, Cassie accused Sean “Diddy” Combs of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse spanning decades in a lawsuit.
The In Da Club rapper wasted no time taking a jab at his long-time nemesis, posting a stank-face selfie of himself to his Instagram and X (previously Twitter) pages less than a day after the disturbing lawsuit first emerged.
“Damn brother love, brother love, brother love, you out here looking [side-eye emoji] CRAZY AS A MF LMAO,” he captioned the photo.
For context, Combs changed his moniker to “Love” or “Brother Love” in 2017 in honor of having evolved into a new person, saying that his new self deserved a new name.
The jab came as no surprise, as the two rappers have been publicly feuding for years. Some netizens were anticipating 50 Cent’s remarks.
“Who else was waiting for that 50 reply?” one commented.
“Everything 50 Cent has been saying to us all these years was true,” another wrote.
As previously reported, Cassie, 37, claimed that Diddy, 54, began an abusive and controlling behavior pattern after their 2005 meeting.
Cassie claimed that Diddy forced her to have sex with male prostitutes on camera, beat her, and encouraged drug use. Cassie describes herself as “a victim of sex trafficking” in the lawsuit, claiming that the alleged incidents took place in posh hotels and Diddy’s homes across the nation.
Cassie further alleges that Diddy forced his way into her home and raped her in 2018.
“After years in silence and darkness,” Cassie said in a statement. “I am finally ready to tell my story and to speak up on behalf of myself and for the benefit of other women who face violence and abuse in their relationships.”
In a statement, Combs denied the charges through his attorney. “Mr. Combs vehemently denies these offensive and outrageous allegations,” the statement read.
Over the course of their relationship, Cassie and Diddy collaborated on numerous projects. Diddy persuaded producer Ryan Leslie to have the pair collaborate with Bad Boy Records on Cassie’s debut album, which was released in 2006 after they heard the hit song Me & U by Cassie.
Cassie also rose to prominence as the face of Sean Jean, Diddy’s apparel brand.
