Fans have raised eyebrows about the surprising age gap between top performer Lionel Richie and his girlfriend.
They are said to have been dating for some time and were last spotted together in May this year, according to sources.
The couple is said to have a stable relationship despite the age difference. The All Night Long singer is 74, and his girlfriend, Lisa Parigi, is 34.
Both partners reportedly spent a casual night in Los Angeles. Richie wore a black shirt and jacket, while his lady wore a white crop top, a denim jacket, and other accessories.
“I love Lionel, but the age gap here is grotesque,” a fan wrote in a resurfaced image of the lovers. Another added: “40-year age difference; you’ve got to be joking. I don’t care who the man is, that’s just repulsive. Wasting her youth in hopes for some dollar bills. Disgusting.”

Lisa Parigi, according to reports, is originally from Switzerland and used to work at a tech company before meeting Richie.
Richie, with an estimated net worth of $200 million, is also said to have been married two times and had three children from those relationships.
The legendary performer is scheduled to release his memoir in September 2025, focusing on aspects of life and his musical journey.
The title of the book has not been revealed, but the publishers, HarperOne, describe it as an “intimate, deeply candid memoir.”
According to the release issued by the publishers in October, the book seeks to “inspire all who doubt themselves or feel their dreams don’t matter.”
It was expected to highlight lessons the musician learned over the years to become a superstar performer.
“Lionel Richie is not only a music legend who has long been a multicultural and generational bridge, he has witnessed monumental shifts in history and entertainment while working with some of the most significant talents of our age,” Judith Curr, President, and Publisher of HarperOne Group, was quoted in the release.
“We are thrilled to not only be providing his fans and friends with a nuanced, detailed, emotional telling of what his life has held, but his view of the world…what has changed and what has remained the same, the difficulties and the causes for celebration,” she added.
In addition to his divorce experience and the death of his father, the biography would highlight Lionel Richie’s days at the university and his experiences as a member of the music group The Commodores, up to the day he went solo and set his career on a new path.
