Atlanta rapper Lil Baby found himself in legal trouble during a recent trip to Las Vegas, where he was arrested for illegal weapon possession.

The incident, which took place outside the Encore nightclub, has attracted widespread attention after video footage of the arrest surfaced online.

The 29-year-old rapper, whose real name is Dominique Jones, was seen in handcuffs as police officers searched him. The situation quickly escalated when Lil Baby, visibly frustrated, confronted the authorities.

He allegedly offered $200,000 to security personnel in a bid to resolve the situation, all while insisting that he had a permit for the weapon in question.

Despite his protests, the officers continued their search, leading to a heated exchange. Lil Baby, known for his affiliation with the 4PF music label, was seen cursing at the arresting officers and even challenging them to check his body thoroughly.

The tension peaked when he was eventually led away to a police vehicle and transported to the Clark County Detention Center.

The rapper was booked on suspicion of carrying a concealed weapon without a permit, a felony in the state of Nevada. Although Lil Baby’s legal team claims he had a valid permit issued in Georgia, Nevada law does not recognize out-of-state permits, complicating his defense.

Authorities have reportedly obtained video evidence of the weapon being passed to Lil Baby inside the nightclub, further intensifying the case against him.

After spending a short time in custody, Lil Baby was released on a $5,000 bond. He has yet to be formally charged, but his legal battle is far from over. The rapper is scheduled to appear in court on October 1, where he will face the charges brought against him.
