British female singer and songwriter, Lavaud, has delivered a powerful Afrobeats-inspired single titled Roll On Me featuring top Nigerian talents, Tiwa Savage, Patoranking, and Reekado Banks.

The subtle, seductive tune, unlocked early in October, also roped in Haitian-American artiste, Kanis, and has already caught up with fans.

Irresistible Tiwa Savage, on a vocal break, delivered a powerful verse on the record as all the backing artistes displayed their wealth of artistry.

The infectious mid-tempo composition is an addition to the top heartwarming Afrobeats releases for the year 2023.

Credit goes to Nigeria Music Producer, Kel-P, who gave the tune an unblemished professional touch.

Lavaud was featured on Reekado Bank’s Rora Remix in 2019.

Roll On Me would mostly propel the 26-year-old promising talent to another phase of her career after she had previously served fans with Fast Lane and Sweet Lies.

Estelle Lavaud, the singer-songwriter, was raised in London, UK, with family origins from the island of Mauritius, a nation in the Indian Ocean off the southeast coast of the African continent.

“I grew up surrounded by all kinds of music. My father is my greatest influence and inspiration. He is an amazing person, musician, and teacher. I was exposed to so much music with him. I grew up listening to everything from Sega, a traditional Mauritian sound, soul, jazz, R&B, Reggae and Gospel,” Lavaud wrote in her biography.

Lavaud cites the likes of Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, Aretha Franklin, and Beyonce as inspirations for her sound.

Her public records indicate she received recognition from the Music of Black Origin ( MOBO) Awards ‘Next Up’ for her single Pictures, before scoring a US ‘Top 20’ at urban radio with Deep.

Recently, she dropped In This Room — an acoustic single she wrote, produced, and recorded from her bedroom during the COVID-19 lockdown.
