Montana Fishburne, the eldest child of well-known actor Laurence Fishburne, was arrested in 2022 for assaulting a police officer in Florida.

Montana reportedly called 911 about an alleged stalker and threat to her from her ex-boyfriend. It was reported that no one was home when the police arrived.

As the officers arrived from the sidewalk, Montana is said to have yelled at them, telling them “that no one helped her.”

Police repeatedly told her to “back up” until she smacked a police officer on the side of his head, according to Us Magazine, which was able to get the police record.

Following Montana’s April plea of not guilty, she was placed on 24-month probation and had to finish a 13-week anger management course.

There is no admission of guilt, according to her lawyer, Michael Grieco, and the matter will be closed so Montana can proceed.

Montana has already been taken into custody twice. She was charged with three misdemeanors in 2017 for a DUI, but she was freed the next day after putting up a $2,500 bond.

A judge threw out the warrant for her arrest after she allegedly broke her probation in her DUI case, according to court records from Florida that were made accessible to numerous media sites.

Montana was also detained for driving under the influence in Florida three years later, in 2020. She was once again given bail and released.

Montana has consistently said that she didn’t want to follow in her father’s footsteps.

She clarified, “I wasn’t really into mainstream acting. I would get asked by people if I wanted to pursue acting. Are you interested in acting? and I would just respond, ‘No.’ I was certain I wanted to work on [adult] films”.

She admitted, “I had a little passion inside me to do p—. When I was younger, I was terrified of how people would respond, so I didn’t really want to tell too many people about it. I was sixteen when I first began to consider it”.

The 32-year-old stated, “I hear through relatives that [my dad is] upset, but I haven’t talked to him directly to tell me his feelings,” confirming what is already widely known—that she did not receive her parents’ approval before pursuing a career as an adult film actor.

and even declared, “I sincerely didn’t make this movie to harm my parents or bring disgrace to my family name,” at the time. I wanted to accomplish this, and I believe that eventually, my father.
