Businesswoman Kim Kardashian has come under fire for posting a picture of US First Lady Melania Trump on Instagram.
The post on Monday, January 20, shows Melania Trump getting out of a car to attend the presidential inauguration, wearing an overcoat and a hat.
Kim did not add any description to the photo, but fans thought it was an endorsement of Donald Trump and the First Family.

“How many times does Kim K have to remind us that she voted for Donald Trump?” a fan asked, though Kim had not endorsed either Trump or Kamala Harris in the run-up to the 2024 election. Some people felt she has decided to show her party colours after Donald Trump assumed the presidency.

Kim is said to have been an advocate for criminal justice reform during President Trump’s first term in office. Her visit to the House House at the time reportedly led to President Trump pardoning one Alice Marie Johnson, who was serving a life sentence for a non-violent drug offense.

In October last year, Kim Kardashian said she was not ready to date again, but her children were persuading her to find someone new.
Interacting with host Jimmy Fallon on the Tonight show, she spoke about her love life and why she would not want to date any longer but said her children sometimes made a list of people they want her to date.
“It’s so funny because my kids try to set me up…Like, they’re ready now and I’m not. They’re so particular. Like they come home, they make lists. Saint wants me to be with any basketball player or soccer player,” she explained on the show.

At the time, the superstar, who filed for divorce from Kanye West in February 2021, confirmed that her’single’ status was not changing anytime soon.
