Killer Mike tells his version of arrest story
In an exclusive interview with TMZ, Killer Mike gave his version of what happened on the night, when he swept the rap categories.
The rapper explained that he and his team were trying to enter the venue through a door that they had used before, but they encountered a security guard who was “over-zealous” and “unprofessional”.
According to him, the guard was rude and aggressive, and he tried to push past him to avoid further confrontation.
“As you can imagine, there was a lot going and there was some confusion around which door my team and I should enter. We experienced an over-zealous security guard but my team and I have the utmost confidence that I will ultimately be cleared of all wrongdoing. Until that time, keep listening to ‘Michael,’ and keep going after your dreams.”
