Comedian and actor Kevin Hart has taken to Twitter to blast his fellow comedian Katt Williams for his controversial utterances
Williams, in an interview on Club Shay Shay, criticized several black comedians, including Cedric The Entertainer, Steve Harvey and Chris Tucker.
But in a series of tweets, Hart accused Williams of being angry, bitter, and jealous of the success of others. He also urged him to focus on his own career and stop blaming Hollywood for his problems.
“Gotta get that anger up outcha champ….It’s honestly sad. In the meantime…. Please enjoy MY MOVIE TRAILER to my next film “LIFT” which will be dropping on @netflix in 8 days!!!!! There is a moment in the trailer where @gugumbatharaw says “They Really Love You” ….I now know she’s talking about “Katt” 😂😂😂 Mark yo calendars world!!!! This one is SPECIAL!!!!” Hart tweeted.
Hart’s tweet was accompanied by a link to the trailer of his upcoming Netflix film “Lift”, which stars him as a former convict who becomes a personal shopper for a wealthy woman, played by Gugu Mbatha-Raw. The film is directed by F. Gary Gray and is set to premiere on January 12, 2024.
Hart’s response came after Williams went on a rant on Club Shay Shay, a podcast hosted by former NFL star Shannon Sharp where he went after a slew of celebrities, criticizing them and addressing a lot of entertainment related topic. The comedian has faced a lot of backlash for some of his comments on the podcast.
