Atlanta rapper Lil Yachty expressed his discomfort over Kendrick Lamar mentioning him in his fiery diss track against Drake, Euphoria. The revelation came during the latest episode of Yachty’s podcast, A Safe Space.

The rapper, also known as Lil Boat, found himself in the middle of the high-profile feud as an alleged ghostwriter for Drake. The news of his involvement was met with a flurry of calls and texts, leaving Yachty feeling somewhat overwhelmed.

Despite the unexpected attention, Yachty maintained his respect for Kendrick and Drake. He described the experience as enlightening and even an honor to witness firsthand.

Interestingly, Yachty was not surprised when his name was dropped in the track. He had been informed beforehand, although he hadn’t heard the record until it was released.

Many have hailed the feud between Kendrick and Drake as one of the greatest battles in Hip-Hop history. Yachty, who has collaborated extensively with Drake over the years, shared his perspective on the rivalry.

He observed that Kendrick’s tracks were filled with palpable animosity. On the other hand, Drake continued to release impressive records, despite being perceived as the underdog due to his longstanding success and popularity.

Yachty reassured Drake that winning or losing this battle wouldn’t impact his career. He emphasized that Drake’s music would continue to dominate playlists and charts regardless of public opinion on the feud.

The controversy took another turn when both Kendrick Lamar and Rick Ross accused Yachty of being a ghostwriter. This followed the leak of a demo performed by Yachty of Drake’s “Jumbotron Shit Poppin”. Ross further fueled the allegations with a cryptic social media post.
