Kendrick Lamar is making history as he sets yet another chart record with GNX. Tracks from his new album hold this week’s top 5 on the Billboard Hot 100.
This makes Kendrick the fourth artiste to do so in a single week, after Taylor Swift, The Beatles, and Kendrick Lamar’s archrival, Drake.
Sitting at No.1 is Squabble Up, followed by TV Off feat. Lefty Gunplay, Luther feat. SZA, Wacced Out Murals, and Hey Now feat. Dody6.
Kendrick does not only occupy the Top 5; he also appears two more times in the Top 10 with Reincarnated at No. 8 and Man at the Garden at No. 9.
This adds up to 22 Top 10 hits, and the top-charting track also becomes Lamar’s fifth Billboard Hot 100 No.1 and his third this year.

According to statistics available online, Lamar’s album GNX, which was released with no advance notice on November 22 seems to be 2024’s sixth-largest opening week so far by equivalent album units.
It holds the record for the biggest streaming week of the year for any R&B/hip-hop album and ranks as the year’s second-biggest debut streaming week and 2024’s third-largest streaming week overall.
Billboard also announced the album debuted at No.1 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart with 319,000 album units, composed of sales and streams.
The GNX album marks Kendrick Lamar’s fifth consecutive chart-topper and the first artist with three Billboard Hot 100 No. 1s in 2024.
This artistic move surpasses the previous title holders such as Ariana Grande, Post Malone, and Morgan Wallen, who each had two.
