Los Angeles rapper Dody6 is calling out Kendrick Lamar for what he says is a lack of support, despite being featured on Lamar’s song ‘Hey Now’ from the GNX album.

On Monday, April 21, Dody6 went on social media to talk about his current struggles. He revealed that he has lost his home and is now homeless. He admitted things are tough right now, but said he plans to bounce back.

Dody6 also addressed people who believe his appearance on a Kendrick Lamar track should have helped his situation.

He said the feature didn’t bring him money or change his life. Instead, it only gave him attention online, which he said is not enough to survive.

Later that day, Adam22, host of the No Jumper podcast, shared text messages he received from Dody6.

In the messages, Dody6 told him to post that he is using meth and expressed anger at Kendrick for not checking on him. The texts raised concerns about the rapper’s mental and physical health.

The situation has led to debate online about how major artists support the underground talent they feature. Many people are questioning whether enough is being done for these artists after the spotlight fades.

While this was happening, Kendrick Lamar was in the news for a different reason. He has been named the new face of Chanel’s eyewear campaign.

This is his biggest move in fashion so far, after previous work with brands like Louis Vuitton, Nike, and Converse.

Chanel said they believe eyewear is more than just a fashion item. They called it a key part of their style and said Kendrick’s image fits their vision.

The campaign is expected to launch this week and was reportedly shot by well-known fashion photographer Karim Sadli.
