Kendrick Lamar announced a joint tour with SZA a few months ago before their record-breaking Super Bowl Halftime Show performance. The Grand National Tour is now set to make a stop in the UK this summer.
Lamar, famed as K.Dot, confirmed he will be kicking off with a show in Glasgow’s Hampden Park on July 8.
The announcement of the new run of stadium dates came on February 10, just hours after the rapper took to the stage as the performer for the massive Super Bowl Halftime show, of which his co-tour mate and collaborator SZA joined him to perform All The Stars and Luther.
The 13 added schedules for the European and UK dates include shows in London, Birmingham, and Cardiff.
Tickets for the shows are on sale, with a presale on Wednesday, February 12, followed by the general sale on Friday, February 14, at 9 am via Ticketmaster.
Kendrick seems to be in his history-making mood; it started at the start of the month when he became the first artist to be awarded a Grammy for a diss track after winning Song of the Year, Record of the Year, Best Rap Song, Best Rap Performance, and Best Music Video for his Drake diss track Not Like Us.
His Super Bowl Halftime Show also became the most-watched halftime show ever with over 133 million views.
