Emmy award-winning actress-artiste, Keke Palmer will host the 2023 Soul Train Awards, according to a BET announcement. Apart from running the show, the mother of one would also perform at the Awards.
The special event, dubbed “House Party of the Year.” will be premiering on BET and BET HER on November 26 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
“BET asked your girl to host this year’s Soul Train Awards, and you know it’s about to be lit,” gushed the actress in the official promo video. “Grown, sexy, real cute, or whatever—unlike any other because I’m doing it my way,” she sang to the tune of Usher.
Connie Orlando, EVP Specials, Music Programming, and Music Strategy, released the following statement after confirming Palmer as this year’s host: “Keke Palmer is a globally recognized multi-hyphenate talent who embodies confidence and positivity and is one of the most engaging and lovable personalities working in entertainment today.”

Orlando is in charge of the yearly event and, along with Jamal Noisette, vice president of specials and music programming at BET, will be the executive producer.
Jeannae Rouzan-Clay and Dionne Harmon from Jesse Collins Entertainment, and Jesse Collins, the CEO of Jesse Collins Entertainment, will function as executive producers as well.
