Earlier this year, Kanye West purchased a plot of land valued at $1.5 million where his Cornerstone Christian Church stood in Los Angeles.

The initial plan, according to reports, was for him to move his Donda Academy into the building.

However, the plan fell apart as the Academy was subjected to numerous lawsuits for various issues bordering on safety hazards, as well as occupational discrimination.

The music artiste recently returned to LA after spending some months around Europe, where he reportedly got into trouble on a number of occasions.

He has, however, failed to revisit the church since returning to California, and the building, according to reports, is in a state of disarray

The church has been abandoned since earlier this year and pictures show closed windows, as well as trash in the premises. It is unclear if West has plans for the building in the near future.

The musician’s return to the United States coincided with an announcement of a collaborative album with Ty Dolla $ign. The album was supposed to include some fan-favorites such as New Body, which features Nicki Minaj. This, however, did not materialize when the time came for the project to be released.

Billboard has meanwhile reported that New Year’s Eve is set to be the new release date for the album. Despite the announcement, Kanye fans aren’t particularly getting their hopes up given the rapper’s track record for making release dates.

In other news, Kanye West has linked up with Metro Boomin in Italy, sparking rumors of work on a collaborative project.

Metro Boomin, who is easily one of the biggest producers in hip-hop has had a huge year. From Heroes & Villains to his Spider-Man soundtrack, the producer has been making moves, and before the end of the year, it is possible he may release a collaborative with artistes such as Future.
