Rap icon Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s 10-year-old daughter North West is taking after her father, venturing into music.

North West has announced her debut album, titled Elementary School Dropout. The title is a playful homage to her father’s debut album, The College Dropout, which broke many grounds in 2004.

The announcement was made at the Vultures 2 listening event in Phoenix on Sunday, March 10, where North, the first of Kanye’s four children with Kardashian, shared the stage with her father.

“I’ve been working on an album and it is called Elementary School Dropout,” North declared to the crowd, which responded with a roar of approval.

North West already made her music debut

The title is a clear affirmation of Kanye’s debut, which marked a significant shift in the hip-hop landscape and launched his career as one of the most influential artists of his generation.

The upcoming album will follow North’s musical debut on Vultures 1, a collaborative project between her father and Ty Dolla $ign. North featured prominently on the track Talking, which peaked at No. 30 on the Billboard Hot 10, making her one of the youngest artists ever to appear on the chart.

The anticipation for Elementary School Dropout is high, given the success of Talking and the legacy of her father’s music. Fans are eager to see how North will continue the West family’s musical tradition and make her mark on the industry.

Kanye West slams Kim Kardashian

Meanwhile, Kanye West recently launched a scathing attack on his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, and the school she sends their four children to, calling it a “fake school.”

The rapper demanded that Kardashian take their kids out of Sierra Canyon School. Sierra is a private institution in Los Angeles that caters to celebrities and their offspring.

“Kim take my kids out of Sierra Canyon now it’s a fake school for celebrities that are used by ‘the system,’” he posted and deleted.

He also claimed he was “removed from my dad by the system, and the system removed me from my children,” implying that he has limited access to them
