Kanye West is facing another serious accusation of sexual misconduct, this time stemming from an incident in 2010.
Former model Jenn An, known for her appearance on ‘America’s Next Top Model,’ has filed a lawsuit in New York, alleging that West assaulted and strangled her during a music video shoot.
The incident reportedly occurred in September 2010 while filming La Roux’s ‘In for the Kill’ remix video, in which West featured. According to the lawsuit, West selected An for the video and subjected her to a disturbing assault, all while on set. She claims the entire incident was captured on film, though neither she nor West appeared in the final cut of the video.
An’s lawsuit also names Universal Music Group and Interscope, alleging that the production environment fostered inappropriate behavior. She contends that La Roux herself observed unsettling conduct during the shoot.
This new accusation adds to a series of troubling allegations against West. Earlier this month, he was accused of misconduct by a former employee, Murphy Aficionado, who filed a lawsuit describing inappropriate behavior during work meetings. The incidents reportedly involved lewd acts, sharing explicit images of West’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian, and antisemitic remarks.
Aficionado’s lawsuit details a specific incident from November 2022 at a Beverly Hills hotel. He alleges that West summoned him to a room where inappropriate behavior unfolded, involving West’s current wife, Bianca Censori. The complaint suggests an environment of coercion and discomfort, alleging West exhibited aggressive behavior and showed explicit images without consent.
These recent accusations paint a troubling picture of the rapper’s conduct over the years. Legal experts suggest that these lawsuits could lead to broader investigations into the environments fostered by West’s professional projects. Neither West nor his representatives have responded publicly to the latest allegations.
