During a performance in China, Kanye West announced an upcoming solo project titled Bully. He was performing at the Wuyuan River Stadium in Haikou, China when he made the declaration in addition to a new single.
“I got a new album coming out…The album’s called ‘Bully,’ and this song is called ‘Beauty and the Beast,” he stated.
Part of the record captures Kanye singing: “I still think about it every night and day to try to stay away, to keep my audience / don’t take this disrespect, I’m sitting here trying to redirect.”
Since the release of his last album, the See Me Now composer has been trying to make some inroads with his craft. He recently uploaded videos of himself on the piano, cooking up beats for his new project.
As one of the top producers of all time, fans and critics have enjoyed his songs. Some observers say he makes his best music in his “most trying times.”
Recently, the rapper was reported to have settled a complaint of battery filed against him by a photographer, who claimed humiliation over the singer’s autograph.
Kanye reportedly had a “turbulent” time relating to Paparazzi as he tried to adapt to becoming a famous personality in the early stages of his music career.
In one of the instances in January 2022, an autograph dealer said he waited outside a Los Angeles warehouse, expecting the singer to emerge so he could get a signature.
However, the complainant, Justin Poplawski, later alleged that Kanye exited the warehouse, hurled profane language, and threatened to leave.
The photographer alleged that he asked the artist to apologize. Still, he refused, leaving him “confused,” as he [Justin] had always gotten autographs from the musician on previous occasions.
For this reason, Justin reportedly sued Kanye and alleged that he was left with medical bills and emotional trauma as a result of that encounter.
