Former Vice President Kamala Harris has signed with the Creative Artists Agency (CAA), marking one of her first public moves since leaving office.
The Creative Artists Agency is a powerhouse LA-based talent firm that supports talents and brands, including actors, writers, producers, musicians, comedians, authors, athletes, and more.
CAA is known for representing high-profile political, entertainment, and sports figures.
According to a statement shared on Instagram, CAA aims to expand Harris’ platform to support the key issues she has championed throughout her career.
They will work closely with Kamala on her post-White House initiatives with deals that will open speaking and publishing opportunities for her.
In addition to advocacy work, CAA will assist Harris in securing speaking engagements and publishing opportunities.
Kamala Harris is set to make her first televised appearance since leaving office as she receives the Chairman’s Award at the NAACP Image Awards.
The Chairman’s Award at the NAACP Image Awards recognizes individuals who excel in public service and use their platforms to drive meaningful change.
It is, however, not a surprising decision following a similar move by her former boss, former President Joe Biden, as well as former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama.
Meanwhile, according to Newsweek, the CAA’s roster also includes former Texas gubernatorial candidate Beto O’Rourke, Beyoncé, and Trevor Noah.
Kamala Harris’s signing with CAA comes at a time when the former vice president has been pressed about her post-White House moves, even during her visit to the devastating LA wildfires.
A survey conducted by Emerson College Polling/Inside California Politics/The Hill showed her as a promising frontrunner if she decides to run in 2026.
