Vice President Kamala Harris has thrown jabs at Donald Trump during her latest interview with Fox News, with less than three weeks to Election Day.

In the interview with Fox News presenter Bret Baier, Harris had the opportunity to explain herself in front of a network that frequently disparages her while applauding her rival. It also happened after Republicans said she was only granting interviews to “friendly” media.

However, Harris stated unequivocally that she thinks Trump is “unfit to serve [a second term],” calling him “unstable [and] dangerous.”

“People are exhausted with someone who professes to be a leader who spends full-time demeaning and engaging in personal grievances […] instead of the American people,” she stated.

“You and I both know that he has talked about turning the American military on the American people. He has talked about going after people who are engaged in peaceful protest. He has talked about locking people up because they disagree with him. This is a democracy, and in a democracy, the president of the United States in the United States of America should be willing to be able to handle criticism without saying he’d lock people up for doing it,” she added.

Apart from voicing her apprehensions on the perilous status of American democracy under Trump, Harris also discussed the distinctions between the Biden administration and her own hypothetical president.

“My presidency will not be a continuation of Joe Biden’s presidency, and like every new president that comes into office, I will bring my life experiences, my professional experiences, and fresh and new ideas,” she disclosed.

Harris went on to say that her administration would be a total departure from the rhetoric that she claimed was “burdened coming from Donald Trump, which has been designed and implemented to divide our country and have Americans literally point fingers at each other.”
